2002 Seminar

Canine Search & Recovery, Inc found itself fortunate enough to bring some
great instuctors together with some excellent students during it's 2002
seminar. Instructing were Wayne Keith, Denver Holder, Charles
Blankenship, Max Bradburn, Paul Whitted, Carolyn Knapp, Marlene and Ray
Aurand, Barbara Weakley-Jones, John Newcomer, Kathy Newman, Dennis
Schenk, Janet Anagnos and Jeff Finley. In addition, a Blessing of the
Animals was preformed by a local priest.

Participants at the seminar left with a better understanding of what their
canine could accomplish and how to work together as a team.

Many thanks to Mike Byrd, CSAR host, the officers and board of directors of
Canine Search and Recovery, Inc and the staff of Canters Cave 4-H Camp
for a great facility and a great week of training and networking among K-9
handlers. Thanks also to the local K9 officer for use of his private training
facilities.
