HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2003 CANINE SEARCH & RECOVERY SEMINAR

Over 100 K-9 handlers and their partners joined forces to make the 2003 Canine Search & Recovery Seminar at Camp Rockmont near beautiful Black Mountain, NC one of the best CSAR seminars yet. Everyone went away with a new appreciation of what they and their partner could accomplish, renewed faith in their canine partner and a resolve not to miss the 2004 CSAR seminar in Alabama. Training was offered in trailing, air scent and cadaver, both land and water. Evening classes were offered in rappelling - with and without dogs and canine emergency first aid. Of course, the Thursday night annual meeting, awards and auction capped off the week. Canine Search & Recovery wishes to thank the members of North Carolina Search Dogs Association for a great week of training, fun and fellowship with other K9 handlers.
