Over 75 people, their K-9's and gear converged on the Camp Frame 4-H Camp near
Hedgesville, WVa for the Canine Search and Recovery Fall 2000 Seminar. Not even a
couple of days of rain could chase away the great spirits of the group and the
comradery of old and new friendships formed and strengthened over the week.

A seminar isn't made by the location, who hosts it on or the instructors, but by those
who attend and the time, effort and energy they pour out while working with an
instructor or facilitator. Thanks to all who participated in any capacity - it is our hope
that no matter what capacity you attended - instructor, support personnel, or attendee
that you learned and had a good time.

Of course, we would be more than lax not to laud the excellent food, local lore and
hospitality provided by our caterer who was not only there to meet any dietary needs
and requests, but to make suggestions and provide contacts for areas and places to
train any type of dog.

The land cadaver class had the opportunity to work with a local coroner who had
been charged with the task of remarking an old cemetery dating back to the early
1800's which had fallen into disrepair. The class found 20 potential burial sites which
had not yet been discovered.
