FALL 2000 SEMINAR

CAMP FRAME 4-H CAMP
HEDGESVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA

SEPTEMBER 24 - 29, 2000
Cost:$200.00 for CSAR members
$250.00 for nonmembers
Fees Bunkhouse style lodging on camp site and meals from Sunday evening to
Include:breakfast on Friday. Due to arrangements with camp, there is no difference in fees
for those wishing to lodge off site.

Lodging:Bunkhouses are divided into smaller cubicles with rest room and shower
facilities centrally located.
Bunkhouses and cubicles will be shared by seminar attendees.

Training:Training offered in the following venues: Mantrailing/tracking, air scent, land
cadaver, water cadaver. In addition, mini sessions will be held in the
evenings on emergency vet care in the field, dive teams and canines, arson
dog demonstration and CGC testing.
Training available for all levels of canines and handlers from beginning puppies
and novice handlers to experienced canine teams.

A helicopter is going to be available at the camp so that you can expose your K-9
to it. If you wish to fly your K-9, that option is available for a small fee.

This is a great group of instructors with many years experience both in the field as
canine handlers and training other handler/canine teams. They are looking forward
to working with you and your canine.

Canines:Canines are allowed in bunkhouses, but must be crated at all times.
Only one canine per handler will be allowed in bunkhouse.
No canines are allowed in dining hall at any time.
Canines must be on a leash at all times, except if working an off lead training
problem in class.
Proof of current vaccinations must be included with seminar registration.
Handlers responsible for picking up after their canines at all times.
Handlers must provide their own crates for canines. No crates will be available at
seminar site.
What Do
I Need
To
Bring???
Dog crate, dog food and bowls, harness, collar, lead, other canine working gear.
Linens, sleeping bag, pillows, towels and personal tolietries. Clothing needed to
work in the venue you choose. Other search gear you may need for training.

Temperatures during the day should be comfortable, but nights can be quite cool, so
come prepared. There are outlets by each bed for fans, heaters, etc. Bring your
own, none will be supplied by seminar host.

Articles for Thursday night auction. May be breed specific, search specific, or
general purpose items.
CANINES MUST BE
