Q & A

When Are My Dues Due??

Dues are due on January 1 of each year, no matter what month you became a member of Canine Search and Recovery.

What Happens After I Send In My Membership Application??

What If I Don't Know A Canine Search and Recovery Member To Sign As My Sponsor??

We fully understand that there may be times when someone does not know anyone who is currently a CSAR member to sign as a sponsor. If you contact us, we will try to put you in touch with a member in your area. Other options are as follows:

  1. Attend a seminar sponsored by CSAR or where other CSAR members are in attendance and get to know other members who will be willing to sponsor you as a member of Canine Search and Recovery.
  2. Correspond with some of the Officers and Board Members by email or phone in order to get to know one another and for you to learn more about CSAR. By getting to know some of the officers and board, they also get to know you and will act as a sponsor.
  3. Submit a letter of recommendation from your chief or unit commander on official agency letterhead.
  4. Fill out and submit our On-Line request for personal contact.

What If I Have Other Questions??

As always, the members of Canine Search and Recovery, Inc. are eager and willing to answer questions about both CSAR and the world of search dogs in general. Feel free to email us with any and all questions. We will see that the appropriate person to answer your question gets back to you in a timely manner.
